2020 Capture Chardonnay

The natural ferment contributes lifted aromatics with complex notes of marzipan, citrus, flint and stone fruit. The palate has a zesty entry of lime and mandarin with a rich texture, complexed by a long sea salt finish.

Border Vista Vineyard

This single parcel, planted in 1997 to Dijon clonal material, is a mere ten metres from the BC-Washington border on the east side of Osoyoos Lake.

The vineyard, with Anarchist Mountain towering above it to the east, has a slight undulations characteristics of what was once the floor of a large glacial lake.

The wine begins with aromas of peach and mandarin orange mingled with spice. On the palate, flavours of mandarin and stone fruits are mingled with hints of sea salt.

94 Points, John Schreiner

2020 is showing more length and complexity this year too. It opens with a light herbal scent, some desert brush and a savoury undercurrent. On top, the stone fruit and seaweed mineral notes add the perfect lift to the mix.

93 Points, Anthony Gismondi

The wine's aromatics feature Golden Delicious apples and toasted hazelnuts, with lilac, straw and a savory/meaty note. Flavors like lemon tarts and a spicy ginger tisane are joined by wet stones and saline.

91 Points, Michael Alberty - Wine Enthusiast Magazine
